We discussed what the goals of the committee would be. How to conduct the work, and what our end product will look like.   Need to have a Health and Benefits section on the Local 452 Website. Gaines will be in charge of creating and maintaining this.   How have other unions handled benefits issues? Longshoremen have member at hall 1x per week. IBEW have similar system.   Info Kiosk at Union Hall; Forms, info.   Committee members may attend educational seminars for health and Benefits issues.   Project HELP?   Try to schedule a Retirement seminar here, committee members should attend.   Discussed recruiting Retired members and DFM (Kyle Jackson).   Members may adopt issues to specialize and research; Mike Phillips; Disability Mark Johnston; LEOFF/PERS Dan Lawson; Presumptive disease   Mike Lyons suggested I talk with Ken McMillan, Jim Martin, and Pat Kelly.   Discussed what topic to research and provide information on.
