It is with great sorrow that the WSCFF and IAFF Local 2878, Eastside Fire & Rescue, announce the death of brother Thomas Paul Stapleton. Tom was found in his home the morning of August 10, 2010, after passing away in his sleep. The specific cause of death is yet to be determined. Tom began his fire fighting career as a volunteer with North Bend.
